At an interview with CEO Stephen S.Y. Wong, Stephen mentioned that the number of Asia Miles members has been doubled in 5 years and now there are over 8 million members worldwide. The programme partners in Taiwan and Macau has also been doubled and currently has 60 and 50 partners respectively. Asia Miles is keen to further develop the markets across the region. The article stated that Asia Miles is striving to provide members with diversified non-air redemption opportunities. The programme has offered over 20 entertainment redemption packages in the past 12 months and members has redeemed more than 7,000 tickets. Furthermore, the Travel Redemption Platform (TRP) was launched in late 2014 and the accumulated miles redeemed for hotel and car rental is over 1 billion.  The programme will continue to offer more multiple earn and redemption opportunities so as to enhance members experience. A number of side stories were running with this article, including the comparison on Asia Miles and Reward-U programme, miles earning tips from miles guru Siu Sze, and the Design Thinking training workshop for Asia Miles staff.
